Exploring the Role of Grandparenting in Enhancing the Positive Mental Health of Children from External Migrant Worker Families

The rising number of Indonesian migrant workers has led to many children being left in the care their grandparents, who may lack parenting knowledge and cause confusion, affecting children's personalities. This research focuses on strengthening positive mental health workers’ by grandmothers as caregivers PuringKebumen District, Central Java, Indonesia, selected based criteria. seven Muslim produced products with demonstrating healthy character, personality, behavior. belongs field a phenomenological approach, while data collection methods implemented were observation interviews. study had four technical criteria for checking validity: credibility, dependability, transferability, confirmability. obtained then analyzed reductively, phenomenologically, editically during collection. method analysis was done reducing data, presenting drawing conclusions, carrying out verification. results showed that focused grandchildren because mentality could shape behavior, temperament, manners, which is primary source human beings. Apart from that, become noble individuals wherever they are, get recognition others good have done, be able reassure hearts. basic principles used process strengthen included trust, religion-spiritual, honesty, unconditional love, sincerity, steadfastness, earnestness, consistency, teaching developing morals upbringing.
